Oppose the Health and Care Bill: join the NHS day of action on 26 February
Our NHS is under threat. The government is using the Health and Care Bill to push through major restructuring that would be damaging to patients at any time, but in the middle of a pandemic will be a disaster for healthcare services.
If this Bill is passed, all of us will be impacted – there will be more privatisation, more cuts, more cronyism. It will result in cuts to services and access to treatments.
The Health and Care Bill will make years of underfunding, understaffing and privatisation far worse. It will cut medical and emergency services, force more people to pay for their health care and let more private companies take over services and make decisions on budgets.
The Bill also caps adult social care costs at £86,000, which will hit the average household hard, while leaving the rich protected.
Help us take action. If you want to help campaign for any of these issues or have anything you wish to be discussed please Contact us here . Join us!
Welcome to the Forest of Dean Labour Party. We are determined to create a strong Labour presence in the Forest of Dean and we work hard to follow national policies locally. We are always keen to meet new members that want to join our cause.

The Forest of Dean is a constituency largely based around the towns of Newent, Cinderford, Coleford, and Lydney. It is precisely the land between the rivers Severn and Wye, as far as Kerne Bridge in the West and Minsterworth in the East, and has the Newent area stretching as far as Dymock and Redmarley added on to the North east.

Where are we?
Our Constituency Offices are based at Regent Hall, Bath Place, Lydney, GL15 5RR. Our Offices are not open to the public most of the time.
